If I buy back prior service, does it affect my seniority date?
YES, any buy back of time will affect your retirement benefit(w/restrictions), and your seniority date.
Is it true that the first 10 days of maternity/paternity leave are paid?
Yes, the first 10 days are paid and can be used at any time within the first year of birth, in one-day increments.
Why didn't I receive a Union membership card?
More than likely, the Commonwealth has not reported your mailing address to us correctly. Please take the time to e-mail your information to Chris Gilbert at Prezof1368@aol.com, and he will contact membership services at Council 93.
Why haven't I received a card for my eye care?
Davis Vision (www.davisvision.com) does not actually issue a membership card. All benefits are either administered over the phone or over the web.
