AFSCME 1368 NewsTHE 2010 FAMILY DAY AT SIX FLAGS WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!The day was perfect the weather was great and thanks to all the help from the Local 1368 stewards it was a great success. The prizes drawn for the following Scholarship fund and future family day events were: 21 Gear Tail Bike, digital camera, one hundred dollar ($100.00) gift certificate to Wal-Mart, two fifty dollar ($50.00) visa cash cards and one hundred seventy five dollars ($175.00) in a 50/50 cash drawing. Legislative Update - Senate Proposed FY11 BudgetDear AFSCME Member: The Massachusetts State Senate released its proposed FY2011 budget today. FY11 begins on July 1, 2010. While we are still analyzing the Senate budget and comparing it to the current budget to determine the level of proposed spending cuts, we are pleased to report that the Senate IS NOT recommending any increases to health insurance premium contribution rates for state and higher education workers. |
