Greetings!

I am delighted to report that the House has just engrossed a budget that
returns the health insurance premium share arrangement for state employees
to the status quo. This was a critical battle for us to have won, and once
again the key driver of this victory was the phone calls so many of you made
to your state reps. Congratulations to all of you!

The Senate budget will be debated next month, so we will see what that
battle brings. I'll keep you posted. :)

In Solidarity,

Andi

The Bill (House 1913) to move DYS from Health and Human services to Public Safety has been sent to a study committee. As you recall, the bill was sent from the committee on Public Safety to the committee on State Administration and Regulatory Oversight.

Here is a list of its members:
Wilkerson of Second Suffolk — Chair,

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT WE ALL CALL THESE MEMBERS, AS WELL AS OUR OWN ELECTED OFFICIALS TO KEEP THIS BILL ALIVE!
